Job Summary
Escort patients to exam rooms, verify medications and allergies, and obtain vital signs including blood pressure and temperature. Ensure lab and diagnostic results are charted before appointments while stocking and cleaning exam rooms. Collect specimens, administer injections and vaccinations, perform phlebotomy, and assist with procedures like EKGs and nebulizer treatments. Prepare patients for exams, instruct on medications and diets, and update medical records using EMR software. Follow up on diagnostics and manage inventory for office supplies. Requires three years of clinical experience, Medical Assistant certification, and CPR/First Aid. Full-time role with medical, dental, and vision benefits plus paid PTO.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least three years of clinical experience
- Medical Assistant certification or higher (EMT, RN, LPN)
- CPR/First Aid certification
- English
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Close and distance vision, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust your focus
