Job Summary
Conduct triage, take vital signs, and document patient histories in the EMR system. Collect laboratory specimens, administer medications and injections, and perform clinical procedures such as IV starts and catheter placement. Assist with occupational medicine services including drug screening and pulmonary function testing while enforcing HIPAA and OSHA compliance. Operate office medical equipment and oversee quality assurance programs. Travel to other locations as required. Full-time 3-day 12-hour shifts from 8 AM to 8 PM with no overnight rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- 1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant, AEMT, or Paramedic
- Proficiency in venipuncture, injections, and clinical procedures
- Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, and rotating holidays
- A positive, proactive approach to patient care and collaboration
