Job Summary
Medical Assistants support a variety of clinical duties in ambulatory outpatient clinics, including rooming patients, taking vitals, obtaining medical history, documenting care in the electronic medical record, administering vaccines and injections, performing phlebotomy and point-of-care testing, and medication reconciliation under RN/Provider supervision. They also gather requirements from internal and external customers, and initiate prior authorizations, referrals, and process sample medications, prescriptions, and refills as directed. This role is based in a Franciscan Health physician practice setting with a day-shift schedule, offering sign-on bonus eligibility and an emphasis on compassionate patient care within a Catholic health system.

- Medical Assisting Program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) - American Allied Health
