Job Summary
Medical Assistant/Phlebotomy role in PCC Medical Holding clinics performing administrative and clinical duties to support providers and deliver quality patient care. Responsibilities include escorting patients to exam rooms, obtaining vital signs, preparing examinations and rooms, assisting during exams, collecting lab specimens, administering medications and vaccines, administering EKG and nebulizer treatments, processing prescriptions, phlebotomy, inventory management, updating medical records, and using EMR and Microsoft Office. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, medical assistant certification or higher (EMT/RN/LPN) CPR/First Aid certification, and at least three years of clinical experience. Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of medical codes. English required; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; eligibility for related certifications preferred.
