Job Summary
Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist role at US Fertility in Wexford, PA on weekends (Saturday and Sunday 6:45 AM–11:00 AM). Responsibilities include high-volume phlebotomy, maintaining blood-drawing supplies, assisting with the clinical care of fertility patients, ensuring lab specimens are sent to proper labs, providing patient/couple counseling and instruction, pre/post operative education, performing semen washes and setting up IUIs, taking vital signs, data entry, and delivering compassionate support to patients and families. Requires strong phlebotomy skills, HS diploma, MA program completion preferred, and the ability to work autonomously and in a team with excellent communication and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Strong phlebotomy skills required
- High School diploma
- Completion of a formal MA program; preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail, data entry proficiency
- Minimum of one year of prior healthcare experience
