Job Summary
Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist role at US Fertility supporting Shady Grove Fertility in Fairfax, VA. Responsibilities include high-volume phlebotomy, maintaining blood-drawing station supplies, assisting with clinical care of fertility patients, processing lab specimens, conveying physician orders and instructions, providing pre/post-op education, performing semen washes and IUIs setups, taking vital signs, and offering compassionate, patient-centered support. Requires strong phlebotomy skills, completion of MA program (preferred), and ability to work both autonomously and within a team to meet program goals; emphasizes excellent customer service, attention to detail, and proficient computer/data-entry skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Completion of a formal MA program; preferred
- Strong phlebotomy skills
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and data entry speed
- Minimum one year of healthcare experience
- Familiarity with medical terminology
