Job Summary
Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist in a mental-health clinical setting: measure vital signs, escort patients to rooms, assist nursing staff, conduct phone follow-ups, provide health education, manage supply inventory, perform clerical duties (scheduling, records), maintain clean and safe clinical area, conduct on-site lab tests including blood glucose, perform phlebotomy (venipuncture or fingerstick) as ordered, verify patient identity, label samples, ensure proper handling and transport of specimens, maintain infection control, participate in team huddles and meetings, and pursue ongoing training. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, CPR/First Aid, at least one year in a medical office/clinic, and a valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle. Required Qualifications
