Job Summary
Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs, recording medical history, and assisting physicians during procedures while ensuring instruments are available. Perform basic laboratory tests, maintain accurate and confidential patient records, and schedule appointments. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and skincare practices, while keeping examination rooms clean and stocked. May support the clinic's social media presence by gathering content and sharing approved updates. Requires high school diploma, MA certification preferred, and knowledge of dermatology practices. Located at 201 Gibraltar Rd., Suite 101, Horsham, PA 19044, or 7500 Central Ave, Suite 109, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role in a clinical setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and practices relevant to dermatology
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and staff effectively
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Basic proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and general office software
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States in a full-time basis
