Job Summary
Assist physicians and nurses in patient care by escorting patients, obtaining vital signs, performing phlebotomy, and supporting procedures such as GI exams. Maintain patient flow, clean exam rooms and treatment areas, and ensure charts are ready with lab reports. Complete patient charges, stock medical supplies, sterilize equipment, and manage telephone scheduling and prescription renewals. Train new Medical Assistants and perform administrative duties as needed. Requires a High School diploma, Medical Assistant program graduation, or two years of experience, plus excellent communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent
- Graduate of Medical Assistant program OR 2 years of Medical Assistant experience
- Excellent communication (both oral and written)

- Basic knowledge of computers

Desired Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Medical Assistant Certification
