Medical Assistant, per diem - Wilmington Pediatrics

Medical Assistant, per diem at Winchester Hospital (Beth Israel Lahey Health). Responsible for assisting in delivering high-quality, safe clinical care as part of a high-performing clinical team; duties include taking patient vital signs, documenting medical history in EMR, and providing patients and families with medical information to support patient satisfaction. Works to enhance provider efficiency and patient care through collaboration with healthcare providers and daily scheduling needs. Requires strong interpersonal and customer-service skills, knowledge of medical terminology, basic computer skills, and the ability to multitask and apply critical thinking. Education requires a high school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited MA program and MA certification within 6 months of hire, plus Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire.
