Job Summary
Per Diem Medical Assistant at our Brighton Office. Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures; record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, prior authorization and procedures within established guidelines; understand provider to patient flow and anticipate next steps; prep rooms before and after patients and ensure equipment is in proper working order; provide pre-care and post-care treatment instructions; daily scan all retail and cosmetic products and medical supplies and alert management of low supplies; perform inventory and stocking; attend in-house training and continued education opportunities; strong communication and patient relations skills; open availability to cover weekday and rotating Saturday shifts within 7am-7:30pm window. Dermatology and healthcare experience required; Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred; experience with EMR and scheduling systems; computer-savvy with Word, Excel, Outlook. Hourly pay range: $16.50-$21.00.
