Job Summary

Greet and check in patients; manage front desk and patient flow throughout the day. Prepare exam rooms and assist physicians with procedures, including ultrasound-guided treatments. Record vitals, update medical histories, and accurately document in the EMR. Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up care. Collect payments at time of service and verify insurance eligibility. Maintain clinical and front office supplies; ensure all rooms are clean and well-stocked. Comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and all internal protocols while handling confidential patient information with professionalism. Support internal coordination between clinical and administrative teams and participate in team trainings. Founded in 2017, Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine treats over 15,000 patients annually across 14 locations, dedicated to decreasing the time patients suffer from pelvic pain symptoms through patient-centered innovation and holistic care.

Required Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent)
  • High School Diploma or GED or Associate degree
  • Proven working experience as a medical assistant
  • Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Social perceptiveness and service oriented
  • Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds and trained to assist with patient transfers and support
  • Able to stand or sit for long durations of time
  • Strong computer skills with EMRs, Microsoft Office, Teams, and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
