Job Summary
Manage medication-assisted treatment (MAT) workflows, including refills, fulfillment coordination, adherence support, and member outreach. Coordinate prior authorization submissions, track status, support appeals, and ensure timely resolution across prescribed medications. Communicate directly with members, providers, pharmacies, and internal teams to facilitate seamless access to treatments. Support providers with medication management activities and partner with counselors to coordinate care and promote positive outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with clinical protocols. Collaborate with clinical, product, and operations teams to build scalable medication management workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant (MA) certification or equivalent experience, as required by state regulations.
- Experience with prior authorizations, medication coordination, care coordination, or clinical operations.
- Familiarity with substance use disorder (SUD), behavioral health, or addiction medicine, or a strong interest in developing expertise in these areas.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote-first environment.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working remotely and collaborating across distributed teams is a plus, but not required.
