Medical Assistant - Pediatrics - PRN

Medical Assistant - Pediatrics in PRN capacity at TriHealth. Provides support in pediatric examinations and treatments under physician supervision. Responsibilities include interviewing patients, measuring vital signs (pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, height), preparing treatment rooms, and recording information on patient charts. Performs or assists with medical procedures and basic lab tasks per CLIA guidelines. Cross-trained to enhance efficiency and continuity of patient care; participates in a team-oriented environment with emphasis on client care, safety, and professional conduct. Demonstrates flexibility, dependability, and a professional image in interactions with patients, families, physicians, and staff. Requires graduation from an approved program and certification/licensure as CMA/RMA or active LPN licensure; CPR and skills in EKG, injections, and venipuncture are included. Working conditions include typical clinic duties with moderate physical activity and the ability to stand, walk, and assist during patient care.
