Job Summary
Facilitate coordinated patient-centered clinical support by conducting pre-visit chart scrubs, rooming patients, and administering medications and vaccines. Perform in-office testing including phlebotomy, EKG, hearing, and vision services while assisting with clinical procedures and reviewing after-visit summaries with patients. Manage clinic operations through supply ordering, room stocking, sterile instrument processing, and routine quality assurance tasks. Schedule appointments and coordinate care with specialists and community health workers to deliver comprehensive services within HRSA scope.
Required Qualifications
- Accredited medical assistant certification
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Excellent written, verbal, telephone and interpersonal communication skills
- Familiarity/experience with client interaction on the telephone
- Knowledge of available basic community services
- Basic typing skills (such as 30 WPM)
- Basic personal computer skills and comfort with Microsoft Windows® operating system
- EHR experience
- EPIC experience
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
