Medical Assistant Pediatrics

Medical Assistant position in Pediatrics within an ambulatory clinic. Responsibilities include providing patient care under clinician supervision, gathering information relevant to visits, and communicating with patients by phone and in person. The role requires assisting the provider, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining attention to detail and follow-through. Scheduling involves 20 hours per week on a part-time basis, with one weekend shift per month. Primary site is Layton Parkway; will float to McKay-Dee as needed. Minimum qualifications include MA program completion or at least one year of MA experience or an active RN/LPN license in Utah, plus BLS certification and basic computer skills. Preferred qualifications include outpatient clinic experience and national MA certification options. The hourly range is $19.87–$28.31 with location-based care delivery at Intermountain Health Layton Hospital and Intermountain Health McKay-Dee Hospital.
