Job Summary
Medical Assistant position in a pediatric urgent care, supporting sick visits and urgent procedures. Responsibilities include room preparation, obtaining vitals and medical histories, clinical intake, assisting with procedures and patient flow, phlebotomy, EKGs and point-of-care testing, medication administration, clinical documentation, and educating families. Requires current BLS and PALS, EKG certification/experience, and phlebotomy experience; pediatric/urgent care experience preferred. Collaboration with providers, nurses, and front desk staff to ensure efficient, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced setting. Required Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Current BLS and PALS certifications required
- EKG certification/experience required
- Phlebotomy experience required
- Urgent care, emergency medicine, or pediatric experience strongly preferred
