Job Summary
Coordinate care for patients with diabetes and endocrine concerns within the Pediatric Endocrinology department, including outreach clinic support. Assist nursing staff and providers to deliver high-quality patient care in a clinic setting. Perform tasks within the administration pre-defined scope of practice guidelines per state location of practice. This role requires National Medical Assistant Certification and ND UAP registration, with MAIII registration required after hands-on training. Basic Life Support certification is needed within six months of employment. The position offers specialized on-boarding, a supportive workspace, and educational assistance for career advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant program
- Nationally certified or registered as a Medical Assistant (MA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment
- North Dakota (ND) registration as an MAIII through the ND Board of Nursing
- Registered on the ND Board of Nursing UAP Registry if they do not possess MAIII registration at time of hire
