Job Summary
Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) in a pediatric cardiology clinic providing patient care and clerical support. Responsibilities include organizing patient flow with front office staff, interviewing patients, obtaining vital signs, assisting with exams or treatments, performing specimen collection (venipuncture), administering medications per Washington State Department of Health regulations, and relaying information to patients and families. Administrative duties include sending/receiving patient records, facilitating referrals, and preparing forms. Requires WA MA-C certification and current BLS. FTE 1.0, Day shift, Monday–Friday; competitive pay within the listed range and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible new hires.
Required Qualifications
- Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Current BLS certification
