Job Summary
Medical Assistant PCA for Urgent Care in Anchorage, full-time. Representative duties include assisting providers with patient care within the care-team model, rooming patients, taking vitals and documenting PHI, supporting administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and scanning, maintaining appointment flow and organization, answering calls and following up with patients, and performing environmental tasks to prep for the next day. Ideal candidates have strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a patient-centered environment, and familiarity with medical charts and billing coding. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; CMA certification or LPN certification with two years of clinical experience. This role is offered with a signing bonus after 90 days of full-time employment and is with OrthoAlaska, an equal opportunity employer.
