Medical Assistant- PCA Huffman

Medical Assistant to join Primary Care Associates (PCA Huffman). Responsibilities include assisting providers with patient care within the care-team model, rooming patients, taking vitals, documenting PHI, assisting in administrative areas (appointment scheduling, scanning), maintaining appointment flow, answering patient calls, and performing environmental tasks to prepare for the next day’s clinic. Ideal candidates show compassionate patient care, ownership for growth, and teamwork. Knowledge of medical charts and billing coding, ability to use EHR software, and calmness under pressure are required. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; CMA certification or LPN certification with clinical experience is preferred. Schedule varies with 8-hour shifts totaling 40 hours/week; non-certified pay ranges from $20.00-$30.50/hour and certified pay ranges from $21.00-$31.50/hour, with a $500 signing bonus after 90 days of full-time employment.
