Job Summary
Part-Time Medical Assistant at our Freehold, NJ office. The role supports physicians in medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures, assists with recording treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, prescriptions, prior authorizations, and prepares rooms and supplies. Requires previous healthcare experience and familiarity with EMR/patient scheduling systems; Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to work Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays, and open availability to cover in a team environment are needed. Competitive hourly pay range of $18-$22, benefits for both full-time and part-time employees, and a supportive work culture in a dermatology-focused practice.
Required Qualifications
- Previous healthcare experience is required
- Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred
- Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems
- Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends
- Dermatology experience preferred
