Job Summary

Conduct routine pap smear exams and cervical screenings across multiple Toronto-area clinics, including travel to locations in Toronto-East, North York, Downtown, Etobicoke, Brampton, and Mississauga. Prepare supplies, explain procedures, perform examinations, and notify patients of updates while managing administrative tasks such as patient registration, scheduling, payments, and EMR documentation. Maintain consistent inventory levels, follow clinic opening and closing procedures, and ensure exam rooms are sanitized. Complete required training milestones, exams, and certifications within the first three weeks of employment.

Required Qualifications

  • Medical degree completed
  • Successful completion of the MCCQE Part I
  • Permanent eligibility to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident), or possession of a valid work permit extending beyond 12 months (no sponsorship available)
  • Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute for data entry
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and patient care protocols
  • Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related clinical software
  • Basic IT skills and familiarity with computer systems
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Professional, reliable, and committed, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm
  • Respectful, collaborative, and able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, patient needs, and clinic environments
  • Willingness to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
  • Ability to work across multiple clinic or office locations within the city

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous residency interviews in Canada or the United States considered an asset
  • Recent clinical medical experience within the past five (5) years considered an asset
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal, written, reading, and comprehension) to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals; additional languages are an asset
  • Prior experience in a clinical administrative role is considered an asset
  • Passion for continuous learning, training, and professional development
