Medical Assistant - Pain Management (MA, CMA, EMT considered)

Assist physicians, PAs, or NPs with clerical duties, patient flow, and procedures including preparing examination rooms, obtaining vital signs, and documenting in the EHR. Manage appointment scheduling, reconcile daily encounters, and maintain accurate medication lists and allergy records. Provide patient care consistent with cultural and developmental needs, answer telephone inquiries, and stock examination rooms with necessary supplies. Administer medications adhering to safety precautions and facilitate care transitions to UCC or hospital. Perform scribing services and troubleshoot department-specific equipment. Requires BLS certification, medical assistant program completion, and experience with practice management systems. Eligible for an annual bonus up to $8,000.
