Job Summary
Set up exam rooms, check in patients, and maintain the continuity of care log for lab tests and referrals. Obtain vital signs, report significant findings to the physician, and perform venipunctures, audiometry, and vision testing as ordered. Complete required vaccinations and maintain a patient recall system under physician supervision. This outpatient role at Adventist Health Reedley supports a 49-bed hospital and 60 clinics serving 27 rural communities in the Central Valley.
Required Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Successful completion of audiometry and vision training or have a certificate from CHDP within six months of hire
- Medical and religious exemptions
- E-Verify participation
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or equivalent combination of licensure and experience
- Phlebotomy certificate
