Job Summary
The Medical Assistant (Outpatient) is responsible for performing non-invasive, routine technical support services under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals. Key responsibilities include setting up exam rooms, checking in patients, maintaining a patient recall system, obtaining vital signs, reporting observations to the physician, and performing venipunctures as required. Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent and must possess Basic Life Support certification. Additional preferred qualifications include a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant credential and completion of audiometry and vision training.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) Health Care Provider certification

- Phlebotomy certificate
