Job Summary
Performs non-invasive, routine clinical support services under the supervision of a licensed physician, podiatrist, physician assistant, nurse practitioner or nurse midwife. Sets up exam rooms and maintains a patient recall system for lab tests, referrals and transfers. Obtains vital signs and reports significant findings to the clinic physician. Performs venipunctures as ordered and conducts audiometry and vision testing. Ensures vaccination requirements are met for associates and patients as applicable. Requires High School education; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; CMA or RMA preferred; E-Verify participation noted. Primary location is Tillamook, OR with duties within outpatient settings.
Required Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or equivalent combination of licensure and experience: Preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- Successful completion of audiometry and vision training or have a CHDP certificate within six months of hire: Preferred
- Phlebotomy certificate: Preferred
