Job Summary
Set up exam rooms, check in patients, and maintain the patient recall system including continuity of care logs for lab tests and referrals. Obtain vital signs, report significant findings to the physician, perform venipunctures, and conduct audiometry and vision testing. Complete required vaccinations and annual updates as a condition of employment. This per diem, variable shift role at Fowler Medical Office requires a High School diploma and Certified or Registered Medical Assistant certification, with Basic Life Support certification mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Successful completion of audiometry and vision training or have a certificate from CHDP within six months of hire
- Medical and religious exemptions may apply
- E-Verify participation acknowledgment
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or equivalent combination of licensure and experience
- Phlebotomy certificate
