Job Summary
Performs non-invasive, routine, technical support services under the supervision of a licensed physician, podiatrist, physician assistant, nurse practitioner or nurse midwife. Sets up exam rooms, checks in patients, maintains a patient recall system, obtains vital signs, reports significant findings, and performs audiometry and vision testing. Includes required vaccinations for associates and patients, E-Verify participation, and compliance with facility certification options. Day shift, per diem outpatient role in Bakersfield, CA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required
- Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited institution: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification: Required
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or California CMA or NCCT or CMA-NHA or NRCMA or RMA or MA or MA-AMT: Required
