Job Summary
Prepare exam rooms, ensure supplies are available, and perform clinical tasks including vital signs, suture removal, and casting. Assist orthopedic surgeons, advanced practice providers, and physicians in delivering care for musculoskeletal conditions across Holland, Grand Haven, and Zeeland clinics. Coordinate patient flow to maintain efficient clinic operations and maintain accurate electronic health record documentation. Support the care team with excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experience. Ability to travel between locations as scheduled.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of a competency-based Medical Assistant training program that includes hands-on skills
- 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA)
- NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
- NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to travel between Holland, Grand Haven, and Zeeland clinics as scheduled
