Medical Assistant - Orthopaedics Stratham - Full Time **New Practice Opening Late Fall**

Job Summary
Conduct patient examinations, procedures, and dressing changes while preparing visit charts with diagnostic results and discharge summaries. Room patients for provider visits by documenting chief complaints, allergies, vital signs, and medication lists. Obtain and document specific measurements including height, weight, and peak flow, then perform hearing, vision, respiratory, and ECG testing. Process specimens via venipuncture and point-of-care testing, administer medications and immunizations, and handle prior authorizations. Manage clinical supplies to maintain current stock levels and par levels. Primary location is Stratham, with training and coverage for Hooksett and Manchester. Full-time days shift with BLS authorization required within 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- Graduate from an accredited MA Program
- Graduate from an MA Training Program with externship
- 1 year of relevant healthcare experience with formal training (LNA, EMT, Combat Medic)
- 1 year prior experience as a Medical Assistant
- 1 year of relevant healthcare exp.
- 1 -2 years exp. in a clinical ambulatory care setting
- CMA, RMA or CCMA
- BLS authorization upon 90 days of employment
- Must possess BLS authorization upon 90 days of employment
- maintain BLS during employment
Desired Qualifications
- 1 -2 years exp. in a clinical ambulatory care setting

- At least 3 years' experience as a Medical Assistant
