Job Summary
Greet patients promptly and professionally while assisting with registration, collecting medical history, documents, and electronic signatures. Prepare patients for exams by performing preliminary tests as needed, report relevant information to the provider, and assist with patient care and scribe duties. Perform bracing and brace measurements under supervision, review treatment procedures and discharge instructions, and order or retrieve tests. Collect payments, schedule follow-up appointments, balance and close daily journals, and maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Medical Assistance Certification or Degree in the Sciences
- 1-3 years of experience in a medical setting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong data entry skills
- CPR/BLS
