Job Summary
Medical Assistant or LPN in an ambulatory clinic setting at Monument Health. Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vital signs, immunizations, administering unit-dose medications, performing EKGs and CLIA-lab testing, maintaining accurate documentation, possibly serving as provider scribe, scheduling follow-ups, and providing patient education materials. Requires high school diploma or GED, MA-Certified or eligible certification, BLS, and 1+ year clinical/healthcare experience; preferred LPN with SD nursing licensure. Must be able to perform medium physical work and handle potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
- Certification - Medical Assistant-Certified (MA) by one of the listed certifying bodies
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Professional Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Experience - 1+ years of Clinical Experience; 1+ years of Healthcare Experience
