Job Summary
Certified Medical Assistant to join HealthFirst Family Care Center's primary care team. Responsibilities include welcoming and preparing patients, recording vitals and allergies/medications, performing blood draws and CLIA-waived tests, administering vaccines and medications under provider direction, EMR documentation, daily pre-planning for upcoming visits, responding to patient messages and follow-ups, assisting with medical documentation, keeping exam rooms clean and stocked, and supporting clinical operations. Cross-training in Primary Care, Medication Assisted Treatment, and Psychiatric visits; 32-36 hours per week in Laconia, NH.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant through AAMA (or equivalent). If not currently registered or certified, must get certified within one year of hire.
- BLS certification
- 1–2 years experience preferred in a fast-paced outpatient setting
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Comfort with EMR systems and a team-based care model
