Job Summary

Medical Assistant or Clinic EMT to support health care providers in a clinic setting serving a culturally diverse population. Core duties include rooming patients, taking vitals, updating health information, scheduling follow-up appointments, health-promotion activities, preparing patients for visits, verifying medical history, documenting in electronic medical records, assisting with diagnostic/therapeutic procedures, performing lab draws, administering medications, immunizations, EKGs, spirometry, and following standing orders for chronic/preventive care. Maintains infection control and OSHA standards, ensures supplies and equipment readiness, responds to urgent situations, communicates with management, and collaborates with team to deliver safe, efficient patient care. Requires High School Diploma or GED and graduation from an accredited MA or EMT program; 0-2 years of experience in a federally qualified health clinic is preferred; strong communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to diversity and patient-centered care.
