Job Summary
Medical Assistant or AEMT needed at Piedmont Urgent Care in Woodstock. You will be a key part of the healthcare team, performing patient preparation, triage and vital signs, documenting patient history in the EMR, collecting lab specimens, administering injections and medications, starting IVs and related procedures, supporting occupational medicine services, and ensuring HIPAA and OSHA compliance. Responsibilities also include basic clinical and laboratory procedures, QA for CLIA-waived labs, and travel to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as required. Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- 1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant or AEMT (urgent care or ER a plus)
- Proficiency in venipuncture, injections, and clinical procedures
- Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, EPIC preferred
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Team-oriented, positive approach to patient care and collaboration
