Medical Assistant or AEMT - Kennesaw

Conduct triage, take vital signs, and prepare patients for examinations and treatments in a fast-paced urgent care setting. Administer medications and non-intravenous injections, including intramuscular, subcutaneous, and intradermal shots, while collecting routine laboratory specimens such as blood, urine, and oral swabs. Perform clinical procedures like starting IVs, placing catheters, and splinting, and assist with occupational medicine services including drug screening and pulmonary function testing. Document detailed patient histories in the EMR system and enforce HIPAA and OSHA compliance standards. Travel to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as required to support staffing needs. Full-time 3-day/12-hour shifts run 8 AM to 8 PM with no overnight rotations.
