Job Summary
Medical Assistant responsibilities include recording patient information such as vital signs and changes in medical history, preparing exam rooms, performing procedures like EKG and PFT, administering injections and taking blood draws, and assisting with patient scheduling and provider charting. Ideal candidate has at least 1 year of clinical MA experience, EMR familiarity (preferably eClinicalWorks), CMA or certification, strong professionalism and customer service, and HS diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of clinical work experience as a Medical Assistant
- At least 1 year of EMR experience; eClinicalWorks preferred.
- Medical Assistant Course Completion Diploma or CMA designation required.
- Must have HS diploma or GED equivalent
