Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant needed for a multi-site dermatology group in Greenwood, IN. Full-time role with responsibilities including preparing exam rooms and procedure trays, taking vitals, interviewing patients, assisting with procedures (suture removal, wart/mole removal, minor surgeries), preparing specimens for outside lab, scheduling tests and procedures, coordinating referrals and test results, pre-certifications, inventory management, and ensuring confidentiality and patient safety. Qualifications require a licensed Medical Assistant or nursing degree, at least one year of dermatology office experience, and familiarity with EMR systems (Modernizing Medicine/EMA) is highly preferred. Must be able to collaborate with healthcare providers and support staff to deliver quality patient care.
