Job Summary

Ophthalmic Technician / Medical Assistant in a retina clinic. Responsibilities include measuring visual acuity and intraocular pressure (iCare, Tonopen), inputting systemic medications, reviewing medical history, triaging clinical calls, preparing patients for intraocular injections, obtaining OCT and Fundus/Fluorescein Angiography images, maintaining sterilization, and supporting clinicians and scribes. Must work well in a fast-paced, detail-oriented medical setting, demonstrate HIPAA-compliant practices, and be proficient with EHR and office software. In-person roles based in Nampa or Boise, ID; full-time schedule (Mon-Fri).

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Optometry/Ophthalmology experience preferred
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Familiarity with HIPAA practices
  • Inpatient and/or outpatient care: 1 year (required)
  • Ability to Relocate: Nampa, ID 83687; Boise, ID 83706: Relocate before starting work (Required)
