Job Summary
Medical Assistant role providing patient-facing support: obtaining patient records and test results, preparing examination rooms, supporting providers, administering injections and prescribed medications, recording medical history, maintaining patient confidentiality, coordinating tests and referrals, assisting with lab work and phlebotomy, and ensuring accurate charting in the electronic medical record. Strong communication, teamwork, and ability to multi-task are required, along with proficiency in basic technology and willingness to learn EMR systems.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program or actively working towards completion
- Administrative experience, preferably in a medical office
