Job Summary
Provide venipuncture and extended scope duties for a Senior Health-focused patient population, including non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs. Maintain high standards of in-office care through proper labeling, handling, processing, inventory upkeep, and tool sterilization; support patients beyond the lab by handling patient messages, follow-ups, and clerical tasks (biometric screening forms, medical records, billing inquiries, DOH reporting). Master the technology suite (Slack, G-suite, Zoom) and the EMR system 1Life to interact with team members and complete daily work. Work as part of a district-wide care team under the Operations Manager, delivering human-centered, patient-focused care and adapting to changing workflows. Full-time, in-person role based at an office in Arvada, CO, with Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm schedule for a role focused on the Senior Health member population (65+).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of training/externship
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in computer technology (typing, internet navigation, multiple software systems)
- Experience working on collaborative, diverse, multi-disciplinary teams (remote teams a plus)
- Phlebotomy experience and/or certification preferred
