Job Summary
Prepare exam and treatment rooms, review patient history and medications, and document notes in EMA. Assist providers during surgical procedures like excisions and Mohs surgery, while managing scheduling, prescription refills, and autoclave maintenance with spore testing. Ensure MIPS information is accurately completed, check medication expiration dates, and maintain pathology logs and biopsy records. This role requires substantial multitasking and task management to support exceptional patient service.
Required Qualifications
- Customer service skills or a patient-centered mindset
- Previous Dermatology, healthcare, or aesthetics experience
- Knowledgeable with insurance carriers (i.e., Medicare, commercial, HMO)
- EClinicalWorks, EMA, or other EMR software
- COVID-19 primary series vaccination
- Eligibility to work in the United States (E-Verify)
