Medical Assistant

Clinical and administrative duties under supervision of the Onsite RN, PM, Clinic Manager/NP, and Consulting Medical Director at an onsite location. Perform diagnostic testing (vital signs, EKG, audiogram, pulmonary function, vision), Wellness Testing and counseling, patient preparation for exams, recording vital signs and medical histories, and managing patient records. Handle general administrative tasks (phones, scheduling, correspondence) and inventory, support workers’ compensation case management, and assist with occupational and environmental health services as needed. Requires CMA certification, current BLS, valid driver’s license, 2+ years of applicable experience (1-3 years healthcare experience strongly preferred), willingness to obtain HIPAA certification, and strong communication and computer skills (MS Office/Outlook). Schedule is day shift with occasional extension until 7:00pm, and the role emphasizes punctuality, patient relations, confidentiality, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
