Job Summary
Assists providers with non-invasive medical procedures, including taking vital signs and preparing patients for exams. Prepares and cleans exam rooms, performs patient intake duties such as reporting test results and phone triage, and maintains daily logs. Supports administrative tasks like pre-registering patients, scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and verifying insurance eligibility. Educates patients on medications and diets while monitoring supply inventory. Requires BCLS certification, 0-1 years of experience, and U.S. work authorization. No weekends, holidays, or call.
Required Qualifications
- 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship program required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) required
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. for an employer
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of Medical Assistant program from an accredited school preferred
