Job Summary
Medical Assistant OBGYN position in Las Vegas (Centennial Hills Women's Health Clinic). Provides direct patient care under clinician supervision in an ambulatory clinic; supports the clinical team with data gathering, patient communication via phone and in-person, and cross-functional collaboration. Requires MA program completion or relevant MA experience, or RN/LPN license, BLS, basic computer skills, and EMR familiarity. Nurse-licensed applicants or MA residency pathways may be considered; compensation is hourly with a 40-hour work week, and benefits are available.
Required Qualifications
- Proof of completion of a Medical Assistant program
- OR at least one year of Medical Assistant work experience
- OR current active and in good standing RN/LPN license to practice nursing in the state of Utah
- Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Demonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry
- Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with patients and fellow caregivers to deliver the highest level of customer/patient satisfaction
- Ability to protect privacy, confidentiality, and Protected Health Information (PHI) of patients, members, and caregivers
