Job Summary
Medical Assistant II role in an OB/GYN clinic performing clinical tasks under the supervision of a licensed practitioner, handling patient care duties and assisting in clinical needs. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
- Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
- Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces
- Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant including vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
- Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 6 months Healthcare experience
- 6 months Medical Assistant experience
- Preferred: National Medical Assistant Certification
