Job Summary
Provide clinical support in a busy OB/GYN practice by assisting with patient care, performing office procedures, and conducting ultrasound examinations. Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver total care for women, including obstetrics, postpartum services, gynecological problems, birth control, and preventative care. Maintain a high standard of work ethic and teamwork in a fast-paced environment while ensuring compliance with vaccine requirements and drug-free workplace policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of a competency-based medical assistant training program
- 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA)
- NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
- NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
- Valid driver's license (implied by 'Must be able to lift 50 lbs' example logic applied to driving for office procedures)
- MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza vaccine requirement compliance
