Job Summary
Medical Assistant role in OB/GYN focused on preparing patients for visits, escorting to treatment rooms, collecting and documenting patient history and vital signs, and serving as a bridge between patient and physician as a scribe. Responsibilities include exam/treatment room prep, documenting in medical records, processing lab/diagnostic results, coordinating patient flow, assisting with front desk tasks, and ensuring timely patient care across multiple CT sites (Rocky Hill, Vernon, Enfield, Waterbury, Hartford). Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least six months of related experience; Associate’s degree in Medical Assistance is preferred and national certification is a plus.
