Job Summary
Prepare examination rooms, escort patients, and maintain efficient patient flow while ensuring proper visit preparation. Obtain vital signs, document in the EHR, and manage appointment scheduling and supply stocking. Reconcile encounters daily, answer phones, and provide scribing services. Administer medications and dispose of medical waste adhering to safety precautions. Facilitate care transitions to UCC or hospital. Demonstrate flexibility with various schedules and perform unassigned duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate/GED / Equivalent Work or Vocational / Technical School / Diploma
- 0-1 year related work experience
- Medical Assistant certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or within 30 days of hire
- Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing
- Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner
- Basic proficiency in computer use
- Ability to commute to satellite offices as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Associate Degree's preferred
- 2-4 years related work experience preferred
